Still alive.

Still alive.

Barely, but making it.

Long story short – got sick 6 days ago. Called midwife, she sent me to ER, ER sent me to Women’s Center in the hospital, idiot nurse told me baby’s heartbeat was irregular and that she wasn’t moving enough.

Finally managed to leave (with an RX and) with the promise that I would check up with my hospital in the morning and go in for a non-stress test on the babe. Did so. NOTHING is wrong with baby at ALL. If anything, she moves too MUCH, lol, and her heartbeat is just fine. Midwife visited, wrote me another Rx and gave more directions.

Went home without baby ๐Ÿ˜ฆ but at least with meds ๐Ÿ™‚ and am currently slowly on the road to recovery. Don’t bother calling my phone, I hardly answer to begin with but with my voice feeling like this – YEAH, good luck, lol.

Had an appointment with my midwife yesterday (Tuesday) and I’m dilated to a 2 and about 50% effaced. Contracted throughout the appointment and throughout the evening. Wonderful cough is STILL bringing them on but if it’s getting me dilated, I won’t complain. ๐Ÿ˜€

Scheduled an induction at the hospital for February 16th at 6am, aka my due date. Thank HEAVENS. Not as close as I wanted, but a heck of a lot closer that “waiting and seeing” – no thanks, not this time. And who knows – maybe I’ll go before then. ๐Ÿ™‚

All right… was up to take my pills, eat my obligatory bread and drink my stupid glass of water… I’m droopy, they’re almost gone, must… gooo… back… to… sleep…
