House hunting.

House hunting.

It’s quite possibly right up there exhaustion-wise with raising kids. It’s been an interesting ride. We’ve got 2 offers on the table right now and after looking at four more today, we’ve decided to place 1 more offer on a house in West Jordan. As long as the trip seemed seeing the four houses it’s so nice to know we’ve got another offer down and with this one a relatively high chance of getting it. It’s been on the market for 6 months now with no offers, reduced because of no offers and is listed currently at $100 less than the full amount we’re willing to offer on a house. Seems to fall right into our lap, Cam was just looking at houses and that one just felt right.

We went into the house thinking 4 bedrooms, a family room, a living room, nice kitchen – not a bad deal, right? Well, we walked into find not only 4 bedrooms but a bathroom on each level and a 2nd family room! Much like what we loved about the previous home I posted on here. The only draw back is that there are only two bedrooms on the top level and then two on the bottom level. Plus with the bathrooms being on each level, the kids can have their own bathroom. Cam noted that the basement bathroom is very obviously a homeowner job in the shower, the tile looks pretty bad and there’s a large window IN the shower that they didn’t buy a privacy type window for, they just duct taped foil into the window. Interesting…

Kitchen and upstairs all have very neat light fixtures, and a BRAND NEW FURNACE in the basement! Cam was excited over this, so I am too. πŸ™‚

I’ll post some photos and some shots of the kids tomorrow. Almost bedtime here. πŸ™‚

Wish us luck with this offer! πŸ™‚
