Frecklefeet has come to an end…

Well, sort of. Basically, it’s coming to a “business mode” end. The cost is getting to be more than what I’m bringing in and with little to no business to boot! πŸ˜› I’m not torn up over it, I certainly enjoy making the bows and things that I do but have decided to move away from the business side of things. I still have a few (okay, like a couple) loyal customers who keep returning for more items but it’s not enough to keep things going as they are. Rather than paying for my site (which isn’t regularly used, most items are custom and sent through email or messages anyway!) I’m going to open a new free site to cut some costs down and while we’ll still be 100% open for business, I’m no longer looking at it from that standpoint. I’ll make the bows, send them out, purely as a fun side activity – not one that I’m expecting to develop into an ongoing business. Just open for keeps and for fun. πŸ˜‰

I’ll keep you updated on this so that you’ll have an idea of what to fully expect, but in the meantime – my facebook and email ( OR are open to any and all concerns you may have or orders. Please keep in mind Christmas is right around the corner and my family will also be coming to visit before then – I’m still open to orders during the Holidays and may even be able to get them to you in time to stuff your stocking, but this will be subject to order dates and discussion with me.

That being said, I just finished an order with some FUN bows. πŸ™‚ More Princess bows, including a new “princess” style bow: Ro, from Barbie as the Island Princess. Here are some photos! (Excuse the lighting, I mostly work in the evenings which makes for flash-necessary photos. :-P)

This is an Ariel (from The Little Mermaid) bow, made after this dress, she turned out very cute. (PS: Thanks for the crystals, Jeanne, they work great! Makena’s order is next to go out!) πŸ™‚

And Snow White, obviously after the normal dress she wears in the movie. She was a little harder but I think the next one took the cake on complexity…

Ro (or Rosella) from the movie Barbie as the Island Princess, took a little more time as you can see but she definitely turned out fun. πŸ™‚ Here’s a photo to compare her to. Olivia has been very into these new Barbie movies (and Barbies in general!) and Kenzie, the little girl getting these forΒ Hannakuh, is just the same! I can’t wait to hear what she thinks of them. πŸ™‚

Off I go, been up with Rae since 4… it’s going to be a long morning…

  1. Ohh, we are soooooo excited about the bows. πŸ™‚ Im sad to see you closing up shop however I am happy to know that we can still order with you, thats all that matters since Makenzies bow collection has to be 80% from you! LOL

    1. Aww thanks Lindsay, and yes, we’ll still have a spot that the photos will be available if you’re looking for inspiration and custom orders will be taken through email or messaging. πŸ™‚ I’m so glad Kenzie enjoys the bows! πŸ™‚

  2. Those are beautiful! You are so talented! I am glad those crystals worked out for you. I am sure I will be ordering more once Jessica and Makena see how beautiful they are!
