To Grandmas and Grandpas: I’ll go through as many photos as I can but there are a lot, I may break it up into three parts. We opened whatever the kids picked in whatever order was picked, so if you don’t see gifts that you sent, be patient, I’m sure we’ve got them and they were opened and are currently being loved. 😉 Thank you notes are coming in January! We love you! Merry Christmas!
Here we go…
Christmas Morning @ 8am… (I KNOW! 8am? What kind of kids ARE THEY? I told Cam to enjoy it while he can as I can guarantee we won’t ever be allowed to sleep this late on Christmas morning again!)
The kids finding their “Santa” gifts. Dunc’s awesome reaction, gotta love it. 🙂
Olivia & Rachael’s “Santa” gift this year was this baby cradle that turns into a changing table and has a highchair on the side. Santa confided in me that this was a HUGE PAIN IN THE BEHIND to put together.
The coveted Iron Man. Even Olivia wants one now.
Once Rae discovered what Santa had filled her stocking with, she got to work on devouring it all. (Note the cute PJs from Christmas Eve and the Tinkerbell Pez dispenser that she’s STILL carrying around as of the next morning, lol.) The whole let’s-open-presents-first idea did not fly with Rae.
After a few minutes of shoving her face full of food, we tried some presents.
OH. A BOW!
Yeah. That’s not food. Or a bow.
Ohhh, thank you. MORE FOOD. (Thank you for the left-behind bagels, Papa.)
Olivia got a Cuttlekids as one of her gifts this year. She had so much fun when I got my Cuttlebug, that when I saw this on sale at Robert’s – I jumped at it. 🙂
Okay, I didn’t jump on it. I just grabbed one and put it in my cart.
Cars Dominoes! 🙂
“The Same” gifts, Duncan’s Cars clock and Olivia & Rae’s Princess clock.
Duncan: “A light!” (They have LED lights around the interior.)
Rae: “Is that a piece of food on the floor? I should eat it.”
Bagel in hand, and no new food or bows in sight, she is SO done.
We’re way past nap time at this point, “Naanaa” has been mentioned numerous times by the whiny wee one. We started turbo opening baby presents so baby could take a Christmas morning nap while the rest of us finished our gifts off.
Ooh. Nice look, Rae. 😛
Attempting to get Rae into the idea of opening something, we went for a tissue-paper wrapped gift – maybe the sound would intrigue her?
Thanks Mom & Todd! 🙂
We tried a toy gift again, this time it actually worked. 🙂
And with that lovely little photo of a child who might actually appear as if she’s enjoying Christmas… I’m taking a break! More tomorrow! 🙂
